Description

The first two days of the class will cover the Networking Essentials course. This will cover fundamentals of networking including communications models such as OSI and TCP/IP. Protocols residing in OSI layers 2, 3, 4 and 7 will be examined to provide the knowledge and skills needed for other CCNA courses. Days three and four will be the “Switched Network” where we will cover L2-switch configurations, switch port security, VLAN configuration, VLAN Trunk Protocols, Spanning Tree Protocols, and inter-VLANs communications. Additionally, the L3-switch will be covered. At the end of this class, students will possess enough knowledge to sit through the Cisco ICND 100-101

 

Prerequisite

There are not required prerequisites for the course. However, a basic understanding of networking will be helpful

Cancellation Policy

We understand that things come up. However, when you register for a class, a spot will be reserved for you! You will receive a full refund if you cancel a week before the training class. 80% of the class fees will be refunded if a cancellation occurs more than 3 days from the day of the class and within a week. Cancellations within 3 days of the class will trigger a 50% refund.
